ShipGlobal ("we", "us", "our") operates the website ship-global.store. We are the data controller responsible for your personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We collect: (a) Contact data — name, email, phone, company; (b) Shipment data — origin, destination, cargo description, weights; (c) Usage data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, via Google Analytics 4; (d) Newsletter subscription data — email address, language preference, consent timestamp.
3. Legal Basis (GDPR Art. 6)
Processing is based on: (a) Your explicit consent for marketing emails (Art. 6(1)(a)); (b) Performance of contract for shipment quotes and orders (Art. 6(1)(b)); (c) Legitimate interest for service improvement and fraud prevention (Art. 6(1)(f)).
4. How We Use Your Data
To provide freight quote comparisons, process shipping orders, send transactional notifications (welcome emails, quote replies, order updates), send marketing newsletters (only with explicit consent), improve our platform, and comply with legal obligations.
5. Data Sharing
We share data only with: (a) Verified logistics providers you request quotes from; (b) Email service provider Resend (EU servers); (c) Analytics provider Google Analytics 4 (anonymized). We never sell your personal data.
6. Data Retention
We retain account data for the duration of your account plus 3 years for legal/tax purposes. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe, plus 30 days. Anonymized analytics data is retained for 26 months.
